Jawansa Hall comes to the SBDC with over 16 years of creative experience in design, branding, and marketing. Having worked with some of Lynchburg’s top marketing agencies, Jawansa later established his own creative firm known as Blackwater Branding. His innovative but practical application for building brands and brand identities has gained him awards for Best Marketing Agency, Best Graphic Designer, as well as Lynchburg’s Millennial on the Move, now known as Lynchburg Business Magazine’sTop 20 Under 40. He has served as a sounding board for Central Virginia’s Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy Committee and also a repeat presenter of Create Virginia. Jawansa’s guidance has helped both non-profits and small businesses master their brand and how to share their story with world.
Stephanie has worked with the SBDC since 2014 and has been Executive Director since 2018. She develops training programs and conferences
for small businesses in our region. As an advisor, she often works with clients who are working to expand their markets, get started in government contracting or exporting, and understand customers. She also coaches on business plan development and digital marketing.
