Start Small Campbell
As a small business owner, funding your operation can be a challenge, but one program in Campbell County is working to help you get started with less of a challenge.
In order to spur economic growth in Campbell County, one opportunity that is available is the Start Small Campbell Grant Program. This program is geared toward new or new Campbell businesses employing 200 people or less. Businesses can submit an application to be eligible to receive a $5,000 grant to aid in the start-up of their small business. As part of the application process, businesses must submit a business plan and have completed two of the Smart Start programs offered by the Small Business Development Center. Applications will be reviewed quarterly to award four grants each year.
To be eligible for this grant program you must meet the following criteria.
- Eligibility Requirements
- Businesses must submit a business plan
- Completion of two Smart Start Programs offered by the Small Business Development Center (after completion of the first Start Smart program, contact Stephanie Keener of the SBDC for second class requirements).
If you meet the criteria and are interested, see the application here. You will first fill out some quick information about yourself and your company and then share what led you to start your business. Your application can be submitted through Start Small Campbell Grant Program Application
Afraid you won’t qualify because you haven’t completed any Smart Start programs? Don’t worry! There are plenty of available programs that are offered through the Small Business Development Center, and we are adding new dates and titles frequently. To view what course is coming next you can check out the calendar or contact the SBDC.
